The face of TrajectoryGEO to your clients
As Account Manager at TrajectoryGEO, you'll own the full client relationship from onboarding through renewal. You're the strategic partner who makes sure every client understands the value of GEO, stays aligned to their goals, and consistently sees results they can attribute to our work.
You'll work closely with our GEO strategy team to translate citation data into clear narratives, and with our operations team to make sure deliverables land on time and at the right quality. This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role - you'll manage your book of business the way you see fit, and you'll be measured on retention and expansion.
What you'll do
- Own a portfolio of 8–12 B2B client accounts across multiple verticals, acting as their primary point of contact at TrajectoryGEO
- Lead weekly or bi-weekly strategy calls, quarterly business reviews, and ad-hoc check-ins tailored to each client's communication preferences
- Translate GEO citation data and AI visibility metrics into clear, compelling narratives that demonstrate ROI and guide strategic decisions
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts - new service lines, additional AI engines, broader keyword coverage - and develop pitches to grow account value
- Coordinate deliverables between clients and the internal GEO strategy and data teams, ensuring timelines are met and quality standards are upheld
- Monitor each client's competitive landscape across AI platforms and proactively surface risks or opportunities before clients ask
- Maintain clean CRM records, track health scores, and flag at-risk accounts early so the team can intervene in time
- Collaborate with the sales team on handoff documentation to ensure new clients start with full context and clear expectations
What we're looking for
- 2+ years of experience in account management, client success, or a client-facing agency role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - you can explain complex AI concepts to a non-technical CMO without losing the room
- Experience working with performance marketing, SEO, or digital strategy clients (GEO experience is a significant bonus but not required)
- Comfort with data - you don't need to be a data analyst, but you need to read dashboards, spot trends, and build client-facing summaries without hand-holding
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, or Gemini as a user, with genuine curiosity about how they work
- CRM proficiency - HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent - with a habit of keeping records clean and up to date
- Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously without letting details slip
- A self-starter mindset: you identify what needs doing without waiting to be told, and you follow through reliably
